In 1987, Mr. Natal joined EMC Corporation (EMC), which at the time was a family operated business with only $127M in revenue. Mr. Natal was relocated to the DC area and given the responsibility of penetrating the Information Technology within the Federal Government marketplace. He was quickly recognized as a top producer and promoted to a leadership position. He also had a significant impact on profitability and growth at Storage Technology Corporation (StorageTek) where he was the 4th largest revenue producer for the company world-wide. He was a key contributor to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) during its massive Service Center Consolidation project and held various management and leadership positions with StorageTek over his 10 year career with them.
In 1997, the Mayor of Fairfax City, The Honorable John Mason, appointed Mr. Natal to be the unbiased spokesperson for a multi-million dollar bond referendum committee. He also served on the Fairfax City Economic Development Committee providing growth strategies and recommendations to Fairfax City’s elected officials. Doug’s views as an advocate for smart growth and fiscal responsibility have been featured in print, radio and TV programs.
In 1999, he was hired by Alliance Consulting Corporation (Alliance) as Vice President and General Manager of the Washington business unit. In this role, Doug was responsible for all sales, marketing, recruiting and consulting operations. During his tenure with Alliance, INC magazine declared Alliance one of the top 10 fastest growing private companies in America, two years in a row.
Doug returned to EMC Corporation in late 2000 as the District Manager for the Department of Defense. Mr. Natal managed a large group of sales, technical and business development professionals covering the Army, Navy, Air Force and USMC community. Soon after September 11, 2001 the United States Department of Defense awarded Doug’s team a contract to deliver Continuous Operation (COOP) capabilities to the Command and Control functions of the military within the Pentagon. Thanks to his success, Doug was promoted to Pursuit Manager, reporting directly to EMC’s Divisional Vice-President. As Pursuit Manager, Doug managed all large opportunities for the entire EMC Federal division worldwide. In this role, Doug was instrumental in integrating the solutions of EMC’s newly acquired divisions (Documentum, Legato, VMware) into opportunities across the Federal marketplace. In this capacity, Mr. Natal led competitive solicitation teams comprising of legal, finance, capture management, proposal management and technical resources.
In late 2004, EDS Corporation asked Mr. Natal to join them to manage the Navy Marine Corp. Internet (NMCI) program. Doug was hired as the Director of Sales for the Department of the Navy and USMC. Doug’s ‘results driven’ approach helped him to achieve his main objectives to drive profitability with new solutions and strengthen relationships with the customer’s senior management.
VeriSign Corporation announced the addition of Mr. Douglas M. Natal as the Vice President of Sales for the Public Sector in July, 2005. His responsibilities include the integration of Government Relations, Business Development, Channel-Partner Management, Operational Delivery, Sales and Marketing functions across all Federal, State and Local Public Sector clients in North America. In the first 18 months as the sales leader, Doug’s team grew VeriSign’s Public Sector bookings over 230% from the previous 18 month period. He is also credited with the vision to modify VeriSign’s direct sales approach by launching an indirect sales channel model, increasing communications between VeriSign’s Government Relations organization and hiring an Enterprise Level Direct Sales team.
Doug Natal is a native of Cumberland, Rhode Island. He graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management. He received his MBA in International Commerce from Virginia Tech. Doug maintains an active TOP SECRET Clearance with the Department of Defense. He, his wife Karen, and their three children, currently reside in Great Falls, Virginia.

As Deputy CTO, Office of the CTO, Azul Systems, where he continues in with his long standing contribution to the java community, Sam Ceccola is involved with setting the technical vision and future direction of Azul Systems. He is also responsible for strategic technical and architectural guidance to customers, partners and employees.
Prior to joining Azul, Mr. Ceccola did a short stint as the North American CTO for Capgemini Consulting, where he had similar responsibilities.
As Deputy CTO, Office of the CTO, BEA Systems, Sam Ceccola was involved with setting the technical vision and future direction of BEA Systems. He is also responsible for strategic technical and architectural guidance to customers, partners and employees.
Prior to his work in the Office of the CTO, Mr.Ceccola held a similar position as Federal CTO/Chief Federal Architect for BEA’s US Government business
Prior to joining BEA, Mr. Ceccola was responsible for the High Availability practice at Hewlett-Packard Managed Services, where he provided high availability end-to-end services for HP’s largest global customers. This position included responsibility for the architecture, implementation and governance for the mission-critical business of these key customers.
Previous to running the HA practice, Mr. Ceccola was responsible for the J2EE Architects in a pre and post sales capacity for HP Federal Services. He also held similar for HP/Bluestone and Bluestone Software. Prior to HP/Bluestone Mr. Ceccola was the CEO and founder of a small services company specializing in Client Server and Object Oriented Technologies.
Mr. Ceccola has also held the roles of Information Technology Manager/Lead Consultant for a mid-sized Systems Integrator specializing in Document Management Systems. In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Ceccola has served as a university instructor at Pennsylvania State, Albright and other private institutes, teaching Object Oriented Technologies, J2EE, C++, and other related information technologies.
Mr. Zipoli has over 20 years experience in architecting and delivering enterprise
information technology solutions to the world’s largest organizations. He has focused
for the past decade on building security solutions for global commercial and Federal
organizations.

at VeriSign where he was responsible for US and Canadian Government deployments. He has personally assisted the Veteran’s Administration (VA) with developing industry best practices around network security. Mr. Zipoli has assisted countless Government agencies with user authentication and PKI requirements over his tenure.
Prior to VeriSign, Mr. Zipoli was the Senior Director of System Engineering for Q1Labs and Riptech, where he built the entire System Engineering organizations. As Vice President of Technical Services and support at both RuleSpace and CyberSafe, Mr. Zipoli built and led both the pre-sales and post-sales support organizations. Mr. Zipoli’s experience includes Director level positions at Symantec as well as pre and post sales management positions at SUN Microsystems and Solbourne Computer.
Mr. Zipoli has over 20 years of experience in operations, product planning and technical sales support focused on Fortune 1000, government and multinational customers.
Mr. Jack Monahan is the Managing Principal, Infrastructure Technologies at GS Advisors. He leads in the company’s efforts that bring innovative, proven technologies and industry best practices from commercially successful companies into the Federal Government in order to enhance mission capabilities of critical technology based enterprise initiatives across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian Agencies and the Intelligence Community.

Prior to joining GS Advisors Mr. Monahan held successive positions as the Regional Manager of Sales for VeriSign’s Government Group (cryptography based authentication solutions), Sr. Account Executive for EMC Federal Systems (enterprise data storage solutions) , Director of Worldwide Sales and Business Development for Stanley Aviation, a subsidiary of UK conglomerate Cobham, PLC (aerospace systems design, development and manufacturing), and Contracts Manager for MDC Corporation (land development and construction).
A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy with a degree in Engineering, Mr. Monahan’s served as an Intelligence Officer specializing in the, analysis, exploitation and dissemination of enemy threat system capabilities and coordinating the efforts of U.S. contractors to account for current and projected foreign threats in the design of next generation weapon systems, and operations mission planning.

Mr. Pat Burns first started serving the United States of America right out of high school, when he enlisted to the United States Marines. While he was on assignment, Pat was injured and returned back to the Continental US with a leg injury. Once back home, he immediately began his formal education at Bryant University outside of Providence, Rhode Island. In 1983 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree concentrated in Accounting.

By 1987, Mr. Burns decided that desk jobs were not quite his style. He clearly wanted to do more with his military training and formal education. So, he became a Special Agent in the Criminal Investigation Division of the Internal revenue Service (IRS). His investigations became personal challenges and many of them also became news worthy.
In this role he Investigated violations of federal income tax, money laundering and related offenses. He was trained to recognize federal offenses, identify offenders, gather and analyzed relevant evidence sufficient to obtain criminal convictions in federal court. His job included tracing of financial activities within the US and to foreign destinations. Mr. Burns also conduct interviews, surveillance, handle informants, work undercover, attend related court appearances, testify in federal court and maintained liaison with other federal and state agencies.
During this assignment, Mr. Burns obtained additional credentials including his license as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and his Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) license.
By 2000, Mr. Burns had decided to take another role the Department of Treasury. The Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) hired Pat as a Special Agent. There he led investigations into alleged violations of federal firearms, explosives and terrorism laws. His role was to recognize offenses, identify offenders and gather relevant evidence sufficient to obtain criminal convictions in federal court. This required him to employ a broad range of evidence gathering techniques including utilization of electronic surveillance tools, execution of search warrants and arrests, conduct physical surveillance, interview witnesses, debrief and handle informants, attend related court appearances.
Mr. Burns was recognized as a leader in his field and became a member of the Department of Justice Joint Terrorism Task Force and the Western Massachusetts Gang Task Force. He also committed himself to becoming a Certified Explosives Specialist (CES) and received his certification in 2001.
In 2006, Pat Burns was promoted to the role of Project Officer and moved to Quantico, Virginia with ATF. As part of the United States global approach to combating terrorism, Pat gathered information, intelligence and evidence. He analyzed terrorist devices and components and investigated terrorist events worldwide. The information he gathered was shared with the US military, allies, and law enforcement officials throughout the world.
Mr. Burns retired from Government service in early 2008. He remains active in pursuing terrorism and other criminal activities through a large commercial contractor. Pat maintains an active DOD - Top Secret (TS) and Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) clearance in his current role as a contractor to the United States Government.
Ron Link is the Director of Business Development of Government Solution Advisors, and a principle to the affiliate company of GS Advisors. The group selectively assists high-technology companies which are relevant to the Government’s needs.

Ron will leads the business development strategies of the firm as they align with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and other IT Executives to insert technologies that reduce the time to mission success, save lives and increase capabilities. Key corporate relationships include Civilian, DOD and the Intelligence Community (IC).
Previously, He had a Business Development practice where he assisted IT companies with sales, business development and marketing. His IT career began while at SUNY Alfred, working on projects to automate the Alumni Fund Raising Program. The project was recognized by the Confederation of Alumni Association as the Outstanding Project of the Year. Using the automation process, Ron was able to triple the Alumni giving to the University. He continue his career with Tandy as an Account Manager with the Computer Division and then as a General Manager—receiving several award both at the Regional level and National Level. Ron moved to Unisys, where he was Portfolio Sales Executive working in the Federal Arena—primarily in the DoD accounts. Also, Ron experience with CompUSA and Oracle saw him working within State and Local accounts and Higher-Ed accounts. He is recognized for his expertise in the hardware and software marketplace, along with strong marketing, financial and operations experience.
He has over 30 years military service serving an Operations NCO, Infantryman, Combat Engineer, Army Recruiter, Instructor, and Military Firefighter. Ron served in the European Theater as well as Southwest Asia during Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield. During his military career, Ron received numerous honors and citation including the de Fleury Medal given by the United States Army Engineer Regiment and Ancient Order of Saint Barbara given by the U. S. Field Artillery Association. As a reservist, he served on active duty during the aftermath after 9-11. Ron has continued serving the veterans of our country as a life member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He serves in key leadership roles in both organizations.
Howard Jasper is a Vice President of Government Solution Advisors, and a principle to the affiliate company GS Advisors. The group selectively assists high-technology companies that are relevant to the Government’s needs. Mr. Jasper will lead the delivery and implementation of integrated technologies that provide solutions to accelerate business processes by Capturing mission critical data, converting it into accurate, retrievable information and communicating it to mission critical business applications.

Mr. Jasper is a certified Project Manager, Senior Business Analyst and Information Architect who bring significant leadership skills, a broad business background, entrepreneurial experience, and a history of innovative and creative approaches to solving a broad range of business problems. He has more than twenty five years of experience relating to complete life-cycle development of information systems in a wide variety of industries including: pharmaceuticals, service, government and utilities. He is a Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA), an accreditation recognized by the Association for Information & Image Management and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
Mr. Jasper received a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance from LaSalle University, Masters Certificate in Project Management and certifications in Six Sigma (Green Belt and Lean Sensei) from Villanova University.
